2 May, 2017 Today I had the exam and learned about Sociocultural Theory.  Sociocultural theory is an emerging theory in psychology that looks at the important contributions that society makes to individual development. 2 May, 2017 Reflect learning of Seminar in English Language of Teaching What did I learn from this course?  I learned about;  1. Global Englishes, ESL/EFL     Global Englishes is English as an international language. People speak English to communicate with native speaker or not. Krachu divided people who speak English into three circles. They are ENL(English as an native language) such as; U.S.A, U.K, Canada , ESL(English as second language) suah as; Singapore, Malaysia, and EFL(English as foreign language ) such as; Thailand, China, Japan. 2. Role of English Language Teaching     The beginning of the role of English language that began from colonization of westerner. Many countries in Asian had been colonized and they had to speak or learn English tacitly that these countries are Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine and etc.     However some countries weren't colonized of westerner. 18 April, 2017 Today I learned about "The end of CLT: a context approach to language teaching by Stephen Bax". CLT is Communicative Language Teaching. CLT focused on communication but not for context. So An approach that argued CLT is Context approach. There were many reasons showed that we don't need CLT such as; In Czech Republic, Holland, and Taiwan, teacher didn't use CLT but their students could speak English very well. Today I enjoyed about the lesson and discussion in the class. I thought I understood this class well. Thank you!!

11 April, 2017 Today I learned about "Current Trends and Issues in English language Education in Asia", "21st Century Skills", and "Major Trends in the Global Field: A Non-Native English-Speaking Professional's Perspective". 21 March, 2017 Today I learned about the Effect of New Technologies on English by David Crystal.  He talked about the Effect of New Technologies on English such as; CMC (computer mediated communication), 2.0 (twitter), WWW., hypermedia. The new technologies actually enhance the English language,they facilitate new pursuits by developing a new style of the English language.  Twitter is not asking us about ourselves anymore, it is more in third person, therefore asking use what is going on around us.  How the Internet help teaching English?  > Weblogs enhancing EFL students > chatting with friends in real life in English > write diary > make you think in different way English is spread worldwide and most of technology and internet has English as written on various pages. So Internet has many benefits to teach English. Thanks!!

14th March, 2017 Today I learned about Problems Teaching English in Thai context by discussion in group by talking with friends. The problems were effected from both of teacher and students such as; teacher didn't have activities to encourage students, students disliked English subject because they didn't have opportunities to use or communicate English in their real lives, etc.  After that we read "English-Teaching Problems in Thailand and Thai Teachers' Professional Development Needs" and summarized it.  1. Hi !!! "TUESDAY" 21st February, 2017 Today I learned about factors affecting English language teaching and learning in higher education from teacher. There are three factors; students, teachers, and learning environment.  For the the students, there are about age, learner differences, learner level, and motivation. About age , there are young children, adolescents, and adult. The first is young children, they would like to respond to meaning, learn indirectly, understanding comes from what they see/hear, need to individual attention, and they have short attention and keen to talk about themselves so teachers should provide various of activities.The second is adolescents. They have discipline problems, like challenges, less motivate, need approval and individual identity. And the last is adult learners. Tuesday Again!!! 14th February, 2017 This morning, class had many activities. They were good. First, teacher let Satit and Maturin told about their experience from exchanged students to training teaching of another countries. They had good experience, although they met some problems like weather or food. For the weather, it was cold but they could stand until the last day. Satit went to Indonesia. He met good friends and they help him in some events. In addition, He met the challenges for teaching mix students from many countries. I thought it was very challenge and interesting too. For Maturin, she met good friends that they were Thai people too. They helped together. In teaching, she didn't have lesson plan but she tried and could pass it. Date 7th February, 2017 In the morning I learned about The Role of English Language Education in Asian Context through presentation from friends, discussion in group and summary by teacher. On Tuesday, 31st January, 2017 Today is a nice day! I learned about ESL and EFL topics through presentation of group work in the class. ESL is  English as a Second Language. Most of countries that use ESL, they colonized of the United Kingdom or the United Stated: such as; Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and etc. Both of teacher and student speak English in the class. For the EFL, EFL is English as a Foreign Language. Both of teacher and student speak native language. In addition, students don't have opportunity to use English in their daily life, so it makes them aren't quite confident to speak English and they worry about grammar very much when they speak English. 24 - 01 - 2017 Tuesday,  This morning before we started to studying, we had to present the group work from last week. That was global Englishes, EFL, ESL, EIL, and ENL. I was a representative from group 1. I was quite excited but I felt relax latterly and I had some comments from teacher about pronunciation like; language, communication, and speaker. I wanted to thank to teacher very much and I felt I was lucky to present group work because teacher corrected my mistakes and friends' mistakes. After that teacher showed the VDO about world Englishes by David Crystal two times. I couldn't understand clearly until teacher let us shared the ideas from the VDO together with my friends. My friends helped to describe the VDO to me, so I understood more than my own understanding. 17 -  01 - 2017      Hi ! Tuesday, This morning, I learned about Global English, Lingua Franca, ESL, EFL, and ENL. The fisrt, we discussed and shared the knowledge that we studied already before class. My group enjoyed to discuss and shared the idea very much. We chose the head group and secretary noted the idea of friends. For the other groups, they worked like us. After that, we had to present our idea. My group is first but it's not finish for the presentation because teacher had to go to the meeting, so she gave us sheets about English as a international language to study and share in the group.  I thought this activity is very useful because we will the other idea and knowledge from friends. If we study but don't share idea or knowledge to the others, we won't get the others because I think that everyone have good ideas. When we share together, we will get the many ideas. It's better. Thanks teacher and my friends for this morning!!...

10-01-2017 Tuesday, Today is the first day to study Seminar in English  Language Teaching Subject.  Teaching by Ass. Prof. Dr. Usa Noytim.  In fact, I  doubted about the word " seminar " for many years. What does it mean? and What it is about? When we learn about it we will learn about what? although last semester a teacher said that you should read a lot of  academic journals in this subject but she helped me just a little.  Until in the real class I understood more because teacher have described about this subject and what would we do in this subject.
