Day 9

21 March, 2017

Today I learned about the Effect of New Technologies on English by David Crystal.

He talked about the Effect of New Technologies on English such as; CMC (computer mediated communication), 2.0 (twitter), WWW., hypermedia.
The new technologies actually enhance the English language, they facilitate new pursuits by developing a new style of the English language.

Twitter is not asking us about ourselves anymore, it is more in third person, therefore asking use what is going on around us.

How the Internet help teaching English?
> Weblogs enhancing EFL students
> chatting with friends in real life in English
> write diary
> make you think in different way

English is spread worldwide and most of technology and internet has English as written on various pages. So Internet has many benefits to teach English.

Thanks!!
