2 May, 2017 Today I had the exam and learned about Sociocultural Theory.  Sociocultural theory is an emerging theory in psychology that looks at the important contributions that society makes to individual development. 2 May, 2017 Reflect learning of Seminar in English Language of Teaching What did I learn from this course?  I learned about;  1. Global Englishes, ESL/EFL     Global Englishes is English as an international language. People speak English to communicate with native speaker or not. Krachu divided people who speak English into three circles. They are ENL(English as an native language) such as; U.S.A, U.K, Canada , ESL(English as second language) suah as; Singapore, Malaysia, and EFL(English as foreign language ) such as; Thailand, China, Japan. 2. Role of English Language Teaching     The beginning of the role of English language that began from colonization of westerner. Many countries in Asian had been colonized and they had to speak or learn English tacitly that these countries are Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine and etc.     However some countries weren't colonized of westerner. 18 April, 2017 Today I learned about "The end of CLT: a context approach to language teaching by Stephen Bax". CLT is Communicative Language Teaching. CLT focused on communication but not for context. So An approach that argued CLT is Context approach. There were many reasons showed that we don't need CLT such as; In Czech Republic, Holland, and Taiwan, teacher didn't use CLT but their students could speak English very well. Today I enjoyed about the lesson and discussion in the class. I thought I understood this class well. Thank you!!

11 April, 2017 Today I learned about "Current Trends and Issues in English language Education in Asia", "21st Century Skills", and "Major Trends in the Global Field: A Non-Native English-Speaking Professional's Perspective". Current Trends and Issues in English language Education in Asia There are 18 countries as follow;  > ESL: (post-colonial countries); Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka  > EFL/ESL: Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, the UAE  > EFL: Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Iran, Israel Current Trends 1. 21 March, 2017 Today I learned about the Effect of New Technologies on English by David Crystal.  He talked about the Effect of New Technologies on English such as; CMC (computer mediated communication), 2.0 (twitter), WWW., hypermedia. The new technologies actually enhance the English language,they facilitate new pursuits by developing a new style of the English language.  Twitter is not asking us about ourselves anymore, it is more in third person, therefore asking use what is going on around us.  How the Internet help teaching English?  > Weblogs enhancing EFL students > chatting with friends in real life in English > write diary > make you think in different way English is spread worldwide and most of technology and internet has English as written on various pages. So Internet has many benefits to teach English. Thanks!!

14th March, 2017 Today I learned about Problems Teaching English in Thai context by discussion in group by talking with friends. The problems were effected from both of teacher and students such as; teacher didn't have activities to encourage students, students disliked English subject because they didn't have opportunities to use or communicate English in their real lives, etc.  After that we read "English-Teaching Problems in Thailand and Thai Teachers' Professional Development Needs" and summarized it.  1.
